Safaricom offers organizations the options to back-up their data and services at Safaricom data centres. Our Backup-as-a-Service product utilizes state-of-the-art disk based backup services in a number of flexible configurations.

The basic options are:

* SOHO – Small Office/Home Office where there are minimal devices to be backed up and Internet connection is all that is needed e.g. use of laptops and PCs
* Standard - multiple computers and several small file servers and applications to be backed up
* Enterprise – Major backup solutions covering multiple servers, applications, locations and involving huge volumes of data (terabyte range).

Safaricom Backup solutions address the need for secure, encrypted offsite backup through a fully automated (cloud based) online backup and restore service. Included in the service is the onsite installation, configuration and ongoing monitoring of the backup service.
